Hypnotist Marc Savard welcomes Cara Schweinsberg back to the team! -by Marc Savard

Cara Schweinsberg used to swing for my show back in 2007. For those of you who are non-Vegas savvy, swing means to "fill in" for a regular dancer/performer. So don't start rumors.

Cara is an experienced dancer in Vegas as she has been in shows such as Steve Wyrick's Real Magic, Dirk Arthur's Xtreme Magic, Rio's Show in the Sky, Mesmerized, and is still currently swinging Cirque du Soleil/Criss Angel's Believe.

Cara filled in for Jacky last night and it was her first time back performing with me since 2007. It was a real treat to have her back and we look forward to having her in the show weekly. Cara will primarily be in my show on Tuesday nights, but that will change periodically. Come by and meet her, you'll love her.

Want to be on TV with Jerry Seinfeld? -by Marc Savard

Open to Vegas Residents only:

Hello everyone!

I am sending this email out to help my friend Suzette. She is a casting agent in NYC and is working on Jerry Seinfeld's new show. They are shooting a Vegas segment and she asked if I might know anyone who wants to be a part of it. It is a fun reality based show based on the ideas below. Does your husband insist on signing Karaoke? Do you argue about politics? Does she talk on the phone 6 hours a day? Let Jerry Seinfeld and other comedians give you advice and help you solve the problem. Read the show synopsis below....

So.... are you interested or do you know anyone who might be interested?

Email me back or email Suzette Brown at the email below. Tell her Marc Savard sent you.

Feel free to pass this along to your friends as well! This is urgent as they are casting next week!!

Hi, Marc!

Anyway, I'm now working on Seinfeld's new show and searching for couples in Las Vegas and Phoenix. It's going to be a fun, pro-marriage show that will resolve an argument a couple is having via celebrities and a relationship referee.

The show is called "The Marriage Ref" and it's based on Seinfeld's experiences in his own marriage. Every couple argues… let’s see how much a little laughter sprinkled in can help. Celebrities and a marriage ref will use humor and fun to help settle any disputes / arguments married couples are having. The producers are from the show "Oprah" and "SuperNanny".

I need to find couples by next week - week of July 27.

Please circulate liberally. Candidates should email me at: sbrown@shedmediaus.com (please cc: nycastingteam@gmail.com in case my mailbox gets full).

Thanks!

NBC CASTING CALL
"THE MARRIAGE REF" IS NOW CASTING!

Jerry Seinfeld, NBC, the Executive Producer of The Oprah Winfrey Show and the producers of "Super Nanny" now bring you...
"The Marriage Ref":

A comic, reality series where celebrities and a relationship referee help squabbling MARRIED couples make peace. Created by Seinfeld himself, this is relationship advice... with a comic twist.

"The Marriage Ref" casting team is searching the country for outgoing and opinionated MARRIED couples in long-term relationships, willing to appear on national television, who have a long standing argument or issue that must be resolved. No problem is too small!

Whether you argue about parenting, pets, fashion, money, in-laws, weight, housework, chores, communication, neatness, jealousy, past history, friends, sex... Whatever you argue about, we want to hear from you. Tell us why you absolutely NEED a MARRIAGE REF to weigh in and decide who is RIGHT and who is WRONG.

Couples across America ... we want to hear what absolutely makes you nuts when it comes to your partner! Tell us your beef and you might just get the chance to state your case on TV. Wouldn't it be great to settle the issue once and for all?!

If this sounds like you or someone you know, please contact Suzette from the East Coast casting team IMMEDIATELY at: sbrown@shedmediaus.com (please cc: nycastingteam@gmail in case Suzette’s mailbox gets full). Casting info can be found on the web athttp://www.nbc.com/Casting/, however, it is advised to apply directly to Suzette.

Please include your contact info, city you live in, photos, and a paragraph about why you are the perfect couple for this show. Be sure to include a brief explanation about your arguments and tell us why you are RIGHT and your partner is WRONG.

PLEASE RESPOND ASAP!!! NEED TO FIND CANDIDATES BY TUESDAY, JULY 28!!!!

Tulsa a success, heading back to Vegas -by Marc Savard

Last night's show at the Hard Rock Casino in Tulsa, Oklahoma was a success. When we arrived, the had sent a driver to pick us up. We drove to the hotel to check in and get settled. The room was ready for us and since we really had not slept much on the red eye flight, we pretty much went straight to bed. We slept for about 2 hours then woke up, showered, grabbed a bite to eat and connected up with the technicians to sound check.

After sound check, we hung out for an hour or so then went down to do the show. The crowd was skewed to a much older age as they were the VIP guests. The stage easily got filled up with volunteers as I spent more time building rapper with the audience. I find this helpful as an older crowd tends to not be as trusting to someone 20 years younger than they.

They responded well, the show was funny, and I am writing this at the airport on our way back to Vegas. We will be back next week to perform for their employee events. We look forward to the people, the hospitality, and the food.

I will be back onstage in Las Vegas performing my show Mesmerized tonight! See you in Vegas.

Hard Rock Casino Grand Opening In Tulsa, Oklahoma -by Marc Savard

I am about ready to head to my showroom here in Las Vegas to do my show Mesmerized tonight. Immediately after the show, Ty my sound engineer and I, are heading straight to the airport to board a flight to Oklahoma. We are not even doing a meet and greet after the show.

We are heading straight to McCarran airport and getting on a 12:50am flight to Houston then connecting to Tulsa. Ugh. We are cutting it close. If the theater is running late, that could potentially be disastrous!

One of the Cherokee Nations Casinos is converting over to a Hard Rock and we are part of the VIP night and grand opening. We also are scheduled to perform for the staff next Friday. So it looks like we have to do it all over again next week. Sheesh!

I will keep you posted on how it all goes!
